Welcome to our Hoping to Adopt website. Our names are Owen and Camille. We have been married for 9 years. Three and a half years ago we adopted our little boy Ryder when he was a week old. We were living in New York City at the time and we flew all the way across the country for the adoption. Ryder’s birthmother is amazing and we love her so much. Living in the middle of Manhattan with a newborn baby was fun and exciting and a lot of work. Owen graduated from medical school and we moved to Albuquerque for his training to be an orthopedic surgeon. Ryder is growing up fast and is full of energy. He bounces off the walls and loves other kids. We spend most of our free time reading, doing projects, and playing with him. We want to be the best parents possible and we periodically sit down and ask each other how we can be better parents for Ryder.
We dream of a big family, but we know that we are limited by not being able to have our own children. We continue to pray for our birthmother to find us and want you to know that we are very impressed with your courage and hope to even consider adoption.
